I like this. I'm intrigued by the title: "what wipes your milk"?

Is this breast milk we are talking about?
Or cow milk?
In the simplicity of the image I can sort of see a cow too! But the body of a woman as well.

Well done.

not just breast milk, but body milk!

I wish I could view this on something more than just my bloody iPhone! This is excellent and has familiar to your body of work but contains things I've never seen as well. Really something, lady.

sherrie - thank you too much lady! i was really happy with the way that they turned out!

For some reason I thought they were going to be on the floor so that you could walk around and look into them from above but it works well on the wall.

the presentation is something i thought a lot about -- but i didn't want people to be able to fondle them or interact with them on the same plane!

Good idea..otherwise it would have taken on a different meaning.

mm absolutely. they're much more about the woman architecturally, now.

Lovely.

I like the strength of character behind the gentleness. Also something about omnipresence.

I especially like the detailing on the lower part.

Hey! I love this, by the way! You seem to be really influenced in womenhood! Mind if I ask you what draws you to that subject?

And also, I remember reading once that you get a lot of your inspirtation from the books that you read. What to share a few titles?!

i'm very afraid of my own gender! it's this irrational fear that i live with where i'm completely afraid of the responsibilities that come with the role of being a 'nurturer'. it's very silly. :(

(but obviously something i don't take lightly)

Hey! So you want to be an art director?
I'm curious, how you plan to apply your degree in art to the profession of art directing!

Erika Altosaar said...

there are some schools that actually offer art direction programs as a graduate program and degree. i feel like it's a case where you need a lot of background knowledge and experience. if i were to go to graduate school i think i would still go for an MFA.!

Erika Altosaar said...
