i couldn't drink my mother's breast milk:

she said i would spit it out like it had gone sour.
click here for higher-res photos and here for a video of the installation. the holes in the wall at school are tragic - bear with me! i know they would look better on a clean wall! i also don't know if it's worth mentioning, but disgust/laughter are appropriate reactions.

Totally ingenious! Your works often look like nature has taken them over. Your lines are as uncontrolled/intentional as nature is so they don't look entirely "human" but still have a clear hint. Am I making any sense?!

Absorbed in Sia, can't think properly!

These are absolutely delightful! I would honestly recognize your style anywhere. And that's a bit sad about the mother's milk, I find. All that goodness that you snubbed!

And I rather enjoyed the video, very amusing.

What a compliment! Being recognizeable is all you can hope for as a visual artist!!

What is on your most recent playlist, right now!?

good question. whenever i've opened my itunes in the past few months my instincts have taken me either to buffalo springfield, black keys, evening hymns, or stars. they're my favourites to do work to because i'm so familiar with them they add up to being background noise to me, now. which doesn't mean i enjoy them any less!

I am always amazed by your dedication. This is brilliant, and a very interesting concept I must say.

It's been a while since I checked out your blog and I am so amazed by the amount of work and progress you've done! I'm particularly attracted to the little delicate drawings in the
barf' bags and wall hangings.

I'm at art school currently as well, last year and its been tough trying to fit into the university system, I wonder, if you've ever struggled with your art making and the uni system? if so, how did you cope?

Happy New Year :)

it's a fair question! i suppose i'm at an advantage because my school is recognized for its push on conceptual practices.. but the greatest advantage in ANY art school is that being alternative is always very interesting! use the context of school to create what you want to. you won't regret it.
